The guide will pick you up at the riad, and you can discuss the itinerary based on your interests and expectations. So, during the briefing, you tell him whether or not you want him to visit museums with you, whether or not you want him to suggest shops or cooperatives without any pressure to buy, or simply to discover local crafts and want him to share the history, culture, anecdotes, lifestyle, and architecture of the medina with you.
